Aromatic movie rooms

18 Nov

Hi there.

I just got this weird idea of what I could call ‘Aromatic movie rooms’. I was watching Ocean’s 13 movie at a quite unusual room at my home. The film mostly revolves under how a group of 13 persons led by a man called Danny Ocean to take revenge on a hotel owner (Al Pacino as Willie Bank, OMG) who deceives one among the group (Saul)  and Saul could not tolerate it and fells into terminal illness. The movie circled over posh hotel rooms and other ares of a hotel. And  happened to notice some fragrances coming to me while  watching the movie.  I happened to correlate some fragrances to the movie scenes and just imagined how the hotel rooms could smell in real. Then it occurred to me, if every movie theaters or custom movie rooms provide mild fragrance to each and every scene of the movie, how could it be. And if the movie is really good, the fragrance could have a lasting effect on the movie watchers. After all, movies are judged how long they stay in the watcher’s memory. This could enhance movie experience. I really doubt if there is existing “aromatic movie theaters/rooms”, but I think this would be a good idea. This idea, I could admit that I found one such similarity in the  motion movie theaters in amusement parks and partly be inspired by that, but some how noses are the only ones that are left up on in a movie watching experience.  So, give our ‘aromatic’ sense a little tickling.

One such film is going to be release in Tamil. I don’t remember wt movie it is. Its said by its director. Its a ‘Eeram’ like movie as he told. I don’t feel good to have an aroma even for the part of a movie. I would stop watching and move out.

the concept is excellent but there will be some practical difficulties in executing it. If someone ia allergic to some fragrance, we don’t this type of problems will definitely come. anyhow lets look into positive points and hope let it come through.
